As the initiator and organiser, Martin Kern would like to look back after 40 years with joy and gratitude and remember all the vocal and instrumental groups that were present in Buchenberg (Bavaria) once or several times.

The pieces of music he has compiled for the present anniversary CD are all "folk music delicacies" played by groups who have been involved in "Volksmusik aus den Alpenländern" in the hall of the Landhotel Sommerau in Buchenberg over the past 40 years.
